Not in High School...

[two_for_three]

last night someone from my school died
his name was chris versace
i didnt really know him
but it still upsets me to know someone
relatively the same age as me died
without having the chance to live
their life all the way through
and it pulls everything into perspective
it could've easily been me
or krissy or susie (you know i love you)
or anyone i knew
and it makes you think of what you would do
if your best friend just died
without any warning
just gone
you cant prepare yourself for these types of things
and its horrible
i thought about it all day
even though i didnt know him personally
so many peoples lives were affected by this
and it just kills me to know that this kid could still be here
going on with his life just like he should be
its a tragic accident
and my deepest prayers go out to his
family and friends

"... and maybe I could tell you to keep your head up and follow through."
