mens magazines aka visual and mental material is surrounded around objectifying women. is there an equivalent opposite to this cultural catalyst of behavior? american womens magazines do not objectify men, at least not in a visual way. this must be a sort of a superiority thing? tits are as private and precious as the helmet of a penis is, in my opinion.
and then there is the fact that women like to be objectified. im sure men would too. because the "object" is themselves, and the ego is in full control in our consumerist society. and meanwhile, you cant help but look. voyeurism is just too easy and instant.
im not sure how i feel about my dooood looking at such magazines. i mean, i know i feel jealous, and that is why i am writing this. and thats weird. because at the same time i dont really care about what he looks at. it's equal to trying to control what he's been smelling in a day. i just feel like i should have the ability to look at naked dudes and it be totally acceptable. i just want to know what options us ladies have in these matters.
