(no subject)
we went house hunting today. saw 5 flats. 4 of them were holes. one of them was pretty ok but the location was poor for me (great for lou)
we're seeing another place on saturday that i'm quite excited about. the building is pretty, the location is very central and equadistant between my work, lou's work and jo and jackson's; 30 mins each way. large kitchen (lou would be happy about that) the bedrooms are probably tiny and i'm trying not to get my hopes up.
as well as house-hunting i accidentally shopped:
a thick silver ring. i've only been wearing my triskele ring (plain silver with a cut out triskele - got it in brittany yeaaaaars ago) i usually wear two rings (one on each middle finger, but i seem to have mislaid one so i've finally got round to replacing it. Being in the shop reminded me how i still do want to do a jewellery making/silversmithing course.
this dress - a lovely little cotton summer dress. the pic's not great but it's got pockets (something that makes me very very happy in a dress) and at £18 it had to be done. plus my winter wardrobe is basically my summer wardrobe with tights and cardies so it'll be great for work too.
i <3 marks and sparks' underwear. and i swear i only have 2 bra's that fit atm as ol' lewis and caroll are basically doing thier own thing atm!
