Chapter Two:

Yunho woke up two hours later. He watched the ravishing beauty sleep beside him, snoring softly under complete tranquility. His expression showed indifference as he continued to stare at the man, who was curled up comfortably, and using his arm as a pillow.

He observed every part of his face. His long eyelashes, tall nose, the cute little mole on his left cheekbone, his clear, smooth skin. And last, his eyes fell down on his luscious pink lips. He was tempted to taste them once again, but held himself back.

‘I love you…’

Oh yes, Yunho had heard those three words, perfectly clear. But he pretended he didn’t, and he was sure Jaejoong knew that.

‘I’m sure you’d understand.’

Of course. Yunho didn’t love him. Not one bit. He was serious about love, he chose carefully; and he had loved his wife. That keyword, ‘had’. He wasn’t so sure who he loved anymore; Seul Gi wasn’t his whole heart anymore, he’d made a mistake.

But then there was Jaejoong. Yunho didn’t love him. Really? Jaejoong was beautiful, he was perfect. But he didn’t belong to him, Yunho wasn’t sure if he wanted him. After all, Jaejoong’s body definitely wasn’t just for him; it was for anybody who came to him for services.

Yunho shuddered. He couldn’t imagine how many men, maybe even women, had touched him. It wasn’t the fact that Jaejoong was sharing his body, he thought. He had wondered if his other customers used condoms, or had safe sex. Did Jaejoong just let anyone enter him the way he did? Or maybe perhaps Yunho was an exception? Because…he loved him?

Yunho scoffed. What did Jaejoong know about love? How was it even possible for Jaejoong to love him? The only thing they’ve ever done was sex. Jaejoong didn’t even know him, at all, and vice versa. The only thing Jaejoong could’ve possibly loved about him was his appearance on the outside, and Yunho didn’t believe that was love. That kind of love wouldn’t last forever. Heck, Yunho could’ve been a serial killer, a total bastard, and Jaejoong wouldn’t have known at all, still stuck in his fantasy world, thinking he was a fucking saint.

Thus, Jaejoong didn’t love him. He was just…confused.

Yunho didn’t know or understand how Jaejoong’s mind worked. He didn’t know. Jaejoong had been doing his job for years. Sure, he was a prostitute, but he was human just like everyone else. He wanted to find his soul mate, a love to fill his empty heart. He observed his customers, their actions, their touches, their words. He was able to read each person, about how their personality was generally like.

He was an expert in this case; Yunho would’ve never suspected him to do something like that.  His love for Yunho had blossomed after their first night; the time spent with him was just…so different compared to the others. Jaejoong had been sure Yunho was the one for him. If only he returned the feelings…

Jaejoong knew it would’ve been hard, considering the position he was in. But he had taken that chance anyway…and failed.

And Yunho didn’t know any of that. He pried his eyes away from the man and read the glaring red numbers on the black device from the table. 8:45.

Yunho decided it was time for him to go; Seul Gi was probably waiting for him. He gently pulled himself away from the man and got off the bed. Yunho had done this very slowly, for if he made any sudden movements, he couldn’t imagine how awkward it would’ve been if Jaejoong had waken up. He walked across the room and pulled his pants back on. Reaching into his jacket pocket, Yunho pulled out a white envelope and placed it on the table. He glanced at the man once more to see if he had opened his eyes. His chest rose and fell in even intervals, taking slow, deep breaths.

Good.

Yunho walked out of the room and pulled the door quietly behind him.

“Where the hell have you been?!” Seul Gi glared at her husband, her arms folded tightly under her chest. She watched the man calmly take off his shoes and jacket, as if he hadn’t heard what she said.

“JUNG YUNHO!!” she clenched her fists, “Does my existence matter to you, at all?!”

That tone in her voice had always aggravated him. “What do you want?” he groaned.

“I’ve just asked you where you’ve been; don’t speak to me like that! As your wife, I deserve better than the way you’ve been treating me!”

“Well, my dear wife, I suppose I deserve to have someone bitching at me the minute I come home everyday.” He voice dripped heavily with sarcasm.

“Well I’m SORRY that I have to worry about your fucken ass every night!! Coming home late makes me think that someone might’ve hurt you!” the flustered woman screamed.

“Well, don’t worry and everything will be fine! I’m a man, I can take care of myself!” he retorted.

“Jung Yunho, I am so sick of the way you’re treating me these days! You know, I don’t feel loved, at ALL! What happened to that caring man you used to be, the man who was considerate of MY feelings?!” Angry tears burst from her eyes.

‘Here she goes again. Well what happened to that innocent, sincere woman you once were? What the hell turned you into a fucking screaming machine that insults ever thing I do? Stop butting into my private space!! I’ll change my attitude once you clean yours.’ Yunho rolled his eyes.

“YUNHO!! Are you even listening to me?!”

The man did not reply.

“You know what? Fuck you Jung Yunho. I can’t take this anymore! You’re sleeping on the couch tonight!” Seul Gi stormed past him and ran into their room, sobbing.

‘Women.’ Yunho sighed. ‘Why are they so demanding and pushy?’

Yunho thought back to the very first time they laid eyes on each other. They had met four years before, in the streets. They had collided into each other, spilling the contents from both their bags. They had hastily picked up their belongings, apologizing profusely. The two had accidentally taken each other’s phones, which had led them to a second encounter. It was then when Yunho had fallen for this girl, her appearance, her personality. And so he stole her heart.

Yunho hadn’t known when he proposed, that she had an ugly side of her which she revealed a year later. He hated how she had become a foul bitch, full of gruesome remarks when things weren’t done her way. But he couldn’t have blamed this disastrous marriage all on her. He had some faults too. They simply weren’t compatible.

Now he felt guilty. Perhaps he was too harsh on her. ‘I guess I’ll have to go in and try to…make up.’

He dragged his heavy feet up the carpeted stairs and into the bedroom.

The couple had ended the night with discarded clothes tossed randomly across the room.

Damn. The woman was convincing.
