1. How is Aimee Bender so unfuckingbelievably good? She writes perfect stories. They're these perfect morsels of life, of writing, of patterns of speech, of details. She's so great.
2. I've been remembering my dreams every night for weeks. I'm enjoying this. Last night I dreamt I got a new puppy and I named it Simon.
3. I wouldn't name it Simon. Jack for a boy, Clementine for a girl. Those are my dog names.
4. Being around happy people makes everything a little happier.
5. Saw my first Parker House & Theory show last night. It was a freaking blast. A blast!
6. I'm very thirsty and I need a nap.
7. What sound do you most like to hear when someone pokes your nose? I like "boop".
8. I'm now negotiating with my mother, telling her if they get a new puppy maybe I'll stay in New York next year rather than vamoose for New Mexico.
