Woo! New Classes
Because of the new trimester, I have new classes. :D So I shall tell you about them under a cut, but I have something more important I've been meaning to tell you all for weeks now.
They have caught the guy who caused the accident. :D They charged him the day after thanksgiving so he could spend it with his family. I believe he's been charged for running a red light (?), fleeing from the scene, and causing an accident with a fatality or something.
First Period is Drama 1 -- I have the same teacher as I did first period last tri, so I already know that I like her. Which is good because I'll probably be a bit more comfortable performing and stuff, lol. Also! I KNOW A TON OF PEOPLE :D:D. One is my cousin -- he was in my fifth period last tri and now he is in my first so it is like he flipped! There's also another kid that was with me in fifth hour, two I know from a club, and others I know by face. I think it's weird my cousin is in Drama with me, but kinda cool too.
Second period is Spanish 2B. I have the same teacher as I did last tri, again. My brother and a friend that were with me last trimester are in this class with me again. :D The teacher put me on the same team as Jake and our team has the least amount of people -- not sure how that will work out! Hopefully we'll still do well. I can do pretty well, but I never can remember what the different verbs mean, or what word is what verb. Grammar stuff I do excellent at, it's the vocab that kills me.
Third period is Human Development or something like that. I know a lot of people in this class too -- one I went to church with, and another I've been in... three? classes with, a few I've had one or two classes with, and then those I know by sight. The teacher is hilarious, as well. I can tell this is going to be a great class with lots of laughs. :D
Fourth period I don't even have to change rooms. I have the same exact teacher, so it's a good thing I think I'm going to like her. This time, though, it's some Foods class. My friend in Spanish class is in this class too, and she sits behind me so when she comes in we can talk for a few minutes before class starts. :D I also know a few others in the room. This class isn't as lively as third period though -- but I think we had some transfer-ins today that will definitely liven the class up a bit, and who also worked at me at the haunted house. So there's those three, and my friend, which would make five in the room Haunted Mansion peoples. :O
Then I have lunch! It's second lunch again -- I've only had second lunch during the time I've lived her, but it's based on teacher not on person so it's kinda weird. I have a few friends here -- only one I usually sit lunch with, and then others I would have but they had different friends/lunch last tri. So I don't have to be too worried about sitting alone; there are about four groups I can sit with if need be. :D
Fifth period is Brit Lit with my english teacher from last year. I like him -- he has a sort of sarcastic humour. However, I don't know anyone in the class, except for by sight. They are ...amusing though. We're reading Beowulf and so he had us sort of 'rewrite' it to modern times with our own plots, and there were some really interesting ones. Unfortunately I can't remember them and they were much funnier in the classroom. Funny, but a little bit awkward at the same time. ^^ There is a conversation I want to share that happened on the second day, but this entry is getting long and I must go to bed so that will have to wait until a later time. :D
