(no subject)
yesterday was fun...
i woke up and sat around my house for a bit (a lovely april fools huh) well then talked to steve and i had the top off my jeep and i went to pick him up and well i made the decision to go off roading now that wasn't the smartest thing on my part
mainly because after the snow melting and all there was a nice mud pit i have pictures i'll eventually put up. ok well the ground looked level looked like a little puddle WRONG! we started to turn around and we were fine and then the back end sunk.
thats right sunk it was like the fucking titanic. i took off my shoes and socks and rolled my pants up to my knees and went to take a look. i had steve trying to drive it out while i pushed and what not didn't really do much. then i step into that puddle and sunk up to just above my knee. thats a good 3 feet of mud / water. ok so i'm covered in mud from the tires spinning and splatering me and from standing in that mud puddle. steve gets out and tries pushing while i try to drive out... no go. i felt like a hick sitting on a fallen tree branch covered in mud. we start calling ppl to see if they have a truck. no go everyone was either working or wouldn't pick up their phones. then some dirt bikers and a 4 wheeler came down and tried to help. they left to call someone with a big truck with a wench to pull us out. no go everyone was working. so every now and then steve was talking to his mom on the phone so we end up walking out of the woods and to the main road a nice little hike we're both covered in mud at this point. its starting to get cold and we're soaked. ok so his mom and dad come then his uncle and his cousin... his uncle has a damn powerful dodge 250 4x4 and chains. i love chains :) ok so steve and i are in the bed of his truck going offroading to get to my jeep lol then we pull the top of dead mans (the big hill thats at about a 50 degree angle to the ground and its a good 40 feet long and my jeep was at the bottom and straight ahead you could see it lol
so he pulls down the hill nice and easy then we all walk up to see if he can do anything so he backs in and hooks the chain to the bumper thats closest to the pit and the other end to his truck and pulls while i sit in the jeep and try to drive out no good didn't move a bit. so they put it on the other side of the bumper and pull and pull while steve's father mother him and his cousin push like hell and i got traction and slowly but surely got out. my jeep knocked steve's mom down and i felt really bad cause her pants got dirty but she still loves me :) so then steve and leave the woods with his whole family and they head back to steve's house while steve and i put the soft top on and then we went to his house washed our legs off and then steve gave me pants and socks to wear and a pair of old shoes and we went to the car wash to wash off the jeep, our pants, and our mud covered shoes. all and all now after we're out of that pit it was funny as hell.
