I'm just one of those ghosts traveling endlessly
Hey guys!
Just a random post to ya know, say I'm alive and well and whatnot.
I've literally just been in a writing hole for weeks because of the Big Bang I'm writing (that was technically due yesterday, but I got an extension because I wasn't able to write for a few days because of power outages and whatnot) I'm really excited to post it because this fic has been my baby for months.
Anyways, the reason I'm posting is because pretty much the best artist in the Glee fandom drew art for one of my fics. It was like an hour ago and I'm still kinda in shock.
It's just...like I told my friend Sol, this gives me validation as a writer. Jackie (the artist), she only draws art for the truly spectacular fics in the fandom, so for her to draw something from my fic means the world to me.
It means that I'm not just wasting my time sitting on a computer for hours on end writing nonsense.
It means that what I've loved to do since I was a little girl, my passion, is something I'm really good at.
I cannot put into words how good this all makes me feel.
I feel proud of the words I've written and the things I've accomplished as a writer, even if it is only in fanfiction and not anything of my own actual creation.
