Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.
You were everything I wanted in a Harry Potter movie.
That and so much more.
And good lord, I have not cried that much in ages.
I've been a Harry Potter fan since I was about 8, so that's give or take, 10 years. It's pretty much been the only fandom I've consistently stayed with.
It was my childhood.
And this was a fantastic was to begin the end.
I cried the first two minutes. Hell, not even that long. The lights dimmed and bam, waterworks.
and THAT FUCKING ENDING. Oh Christ, I knew Dobby was gunna die. I cried for a good 10minutes when he died in the book. But I still bawled like a damn baby in the theater. I tried so hard to keep the sobs in.
I've also been a harry/hermione shipper pretty much forever, so this:
just made my fucking life. It was legit one of my favorite scenes in the entire series. (Also, when they made out? hnnnnng. life.complete.)
But I'm not hating on Ron/Hermione at all. I swear, my heart was soaring whenever they were together. If those weren't hearts in Ron's eyes every time they were near each other than idek what that was.
And the torture scene. That was one of my favorite moments in the book and Emma completely nailed it. It was perfect.
They were all perfect.
I shipped the fuck out of fred and george in the beginning too. When Fred was all worried and shit over his brother. oh god<3.
Just...no words can say how much I loved it.
Yes, there were some things missing, but it's understandable.
The only thing they shoulda touched on more was Harry's piece of the mirror.
BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS PERFECT.
I'm seeing it again tomorrow with my friends and then Sunday with my brother.
I'm happy :]
