5.15- Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid
Show, how i've missed thee *clings*
This was a pretty great ep, and really kinda makes me wanna pop in a Romero flick or Shaun of The Dead...or at least hook up my Gamecube and play some RE4 (Leon Kennedy...yum)
Anyways, here we go:
+ Episode starts with a whitetrash hillbilly being killed by zombie #1...fun times. Bobby's not answering his phones, so the boys go to investigate and make a guy in a diner tell them what happened. "Who died and made you Queen?"(Dean's face at being called queen was a++) So the zombie killed the hillbilly because he's the one that killed the zombie 5 years ago (so, revenge. again, fun times)
+ The sheriff of the town comes over and doesn't believe the fbi give a fuck about whats going on, so she wants to talk to their superior. aka, Bobby.
She knew it was Bobby when he answered the phone, so the boys are screwed.
+ They go to Bobby's house and wonder where the hell he's been. "What are you my mother? bite me." He says nothings going on so they should leave.
They stop at the graveyard and go to the zombie #1's grave, find it empty, so they go to his house. He's there and thinks they're thieves. They say they're fbi, all's well, but he knows he's a zombie.
"So you are, in fact...a dead guy." They take the guy out to go kill him, but the Sheriff stops them. "He's a zombie!" "I'm a taxpayer!"
+ Go to Bobby's, meet the wife, and of course Dean's eating. "Are you crazy? You've got American Girl Zombie making cupcakes in the kitchen!"
Bobby's saying that all the zombie's in town are okay and the boys shouldn't even be there. As he's saying all this, Karen is in the kitchen baking. "She always hummed when she cooked. Tone-deaf to hell....I never thought I'd hear it again."
"Maybe the dead rising is the only good thing coming from this!"
Bobby's begs them not to kill her and just let him have this.

+ Next day, Boys figure out what to do. Sam has a list of all the people that are zombies, and Dean's "Not gunna leave Bobby alone with the Bride of Frankenstein." So he's pretty much stalking Bobby's house and Karen comes outta nowhere and takes him inside to eat pie (Dean+Pie=♥)
"You hunt things...and I'm a thing." "Then you know Sam and I will never let you hurt him, he's like a father to us."
+ Sam's at this old lady zombie's house (right creepy bitch she was) and she's lying on the couch, coughing and choking and her skin is peeling (kinda like Nick's is with Luci in him) and she's trying to speak to Sam but can't, so she keeps waiving him over. "You think you could tell me from here? ...Yeah, i'm gunna regret this." He goes over and after being all up in her face for like 10seconds, she lunges and jumps on him (her dead husband's bloody body is now next to them) and she's coughing and puking and jizzing spitting all over his face...ew. He kills her.
The boys ask Bobby who she was, "She was 'nutty'? Nutty like she ate her husband's stomach, that kind of nutty." They say they have to kill all the zombies.
Bobby grabs a gun and tells them to gtfo.

+ Karen's starting to show signs of changing. *dundundunnnn*
+ Goes to the sheriff's house...and her little boy zombie, who's sick and hungry....and eats his dad. (Seriously, that was just creepy...the little kid sitting by the bloody corpse with blood all over his face..DNW) He's about to eat the Sheriff when Sam barges in and saves the day (aka, gets the mom out and goes and head shots a kid)
+ Dean's sneaking into the house while Karen's really fucked up and knows she's turning. She tells Bobby she remembers everything about when he killed her and that when she was resurrected, there was a man at her grave that told her something. As Dean's turning the corner he hears the gun shot (I jumped, ngl) and then comes into the bedroom to see Bobby holding her hand and a bullet in her head, blood dripping off the bed =/
+ Sam+Sheriff round up the towns people and arm them, meanwhile Dean+Bobby are getting their shit together in a van when the zombies start attacking. They kill as many as they can (Headshots and exploding heads ftw \o/) and run into the house. They run out of ammo, so Dean's hitting them with the butt of the gun and they end up having to hide in a closet (lol, Dean's in the closet) with about 15 zombies banging on the door.
"They're stupid, they can't pick a lock." *door unlocks* "Don't you ever get tired of being wrong!?" "I'm making this up as I go, sue me!" *door opens*
They're getting overtaken by zombies when Sam and the Sheriff come in and headshot all of them (like 20 fucking headshots in a row was awesome. and bonus points to the blood-splatter on the camera lense) saving the day (Lol, Sam helped Dean out of the closet)
+ Boys+Sheriff build a huge pyre and burn the bodies. Back at the salvage yard, Bobby had his own pyre for Karen.
"Least you got to spend 5 days with her." "Yeah...and now it's like 1000x's worse. How many times do I have to keep killing her?"
+ Bobby tells them what Karen told him; Death was the one standing at her grave and Bobby's the reason he did this, he wants to get Bobby out of the way. "It's because i'm helping you sons of bitches. I'm one of the reasons you're still saying no to Lucifer, Sam."
Edit: forgot to say, I loved when Dean straight up said they were family. "It's his wife, Dean!" "So what? He goes Full Metal Jacket on us?! We're his family!" ♥♥
All in all, it was a good ep. Waaaaaay better come back from a hiatus than 5.11 (not that I didn't like that ep, it just wasn't as good).
Now as for next week? HO'SHIT, SO FUCKING WANT RIGHT NOW.
It's the episode I've been waiting for since Kripke mentioned Heaven at fucking ComicCon in July.
The boys get killed and go to heaven and Mary's there. I LOVE all the Winchesters, and Home and WIAWSNB are some of my favorite episode. I'm SO EXCITED *FLAILS*
EDIT: holy shit, just saw three clips from next weeks ep...and I MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE GASPED AND SCREAMED AND TEARED UP. FUCK.
