so the concert was asdfghjkl; amazing.
they're srsly one of the best (if not the best) bands I have ever seen live.
I met up with micheleeeexand her sister, so we stayed together in the insanity that was the mosh pit.
yes, my ass ended up there when I was supposed to be uptop in the balcony.
but it was WIN nonetheless. we were less than 20ft. from the stage, so i got awesome pics. (and also, hot guys in the audience, good lord)
the two opening bands were actually pretty damn good (and hot guitarists, so I had something to stare at the whole time) so yeah, new music for you my flist, The Swellers and The Paper Route.
Now, onto Paramore.
GUUUUUH, my love for them knows no bounds. I've been a fan since AWKIF, so I was so happy that they played songs from all 3 cds. they opened with I Caught Myself then Ignorance, and then kept switching to songs from diff cds. from memory they played--not in order-- Crush Crush Crush, That's What You Get, Looking Up, Emergency, Conspiracy, Here We Go Again, Turn it Off, Careful, Where The Lines Overlap and Decode. (I'm like...90% sure thats all the songs)
Then they went off stage until the crowd started screaming for an encore, which they happily performed.
they sang Misguided Ghosts (I fucking LOVE that song, omg)
Misery Business, and ended with Brick By Boring Brick (all three bands ended the song)
it was ah-may-zeeing. and i'm so glad I decided on going after all (so thanks to those that convinced me x])
only complaints I have is that my foot really hurts from being stepped on so much and I have a knee cramp, but hey, standing for 5+ hours and jumping up and down will do that to ya.
also, mosh pit= crazy ass shit.
people were pushing and shoving and crowd surfing and a few people had to gtfo b/c of hyperventilation (there was even a few ambulances outside) but thats b/c the show was sold out and the venue was pretty damn small.
add that to a bunch of batshit fans (and some had beer) and you'll get a fuck of a mosh pit.
but oh well, still fun, still amazing, and now i'm going to bed b/c I am literally falling asleep at the keyboard.
