other than slowly but surely getting sick, and having a clusterfuck of homework, i've been pretty damn good.
The reason I'm making this post is to rec a fic.

This fic...I can't even put into words how utterly amazing this fic is. (My review at the end of it was almost 700 words and it still wasn't enough for me to say all I wanted)
It just...I dunno, it was just written so beautifully and so real that you can't help but be sucked into it and want to know whats going to happen next.
it's also a very touchy subject matter and the author handled it so well I was blown away.
I spent 2 days reading it, and I can honestly say that I dreamed about this fic, and I daydreamed about it in school today even though I finished it yesterday. I wanna read it again asap instead of doing anything else.
It was just phenominal.
It was very sweet and schmoopy and funny but also heartbreaking and gritty and painful at times.
Summary:Jensen spends his life hiding who he is from the family that would never accept him if they knew. When he’s uprooted in the middle of his senior year and suddenly becomes the new kid, his carefully placed mask begins to slip. Especially when he meets Jared - a loud, outspoken spectacle of a boy that fights for everything Jensen was taught to stand against. Jared has no problem going after what he wants, and now it’s just a matter of Jensen letting himself do the same.
My Summary: Jensen's parents are god-fearing people. and as such, they have a hate for anything that goes against the Bible, including, you guessed it, homosexuality. So Jensen's spent his entire life in fear of what he was and being found out. Also, his parents just...aren't nice people. They treat him like a burden and of little worth, whereas Josh is like their golden boy, someone Jensen can never hope to compare to.
and then Jared is just awesome. He's open and proud and is the president of the GLBT club (and is a member of pretty much everything). He puts everyone infront of himself and is pretty much the best thing on the planet. Jared and his mom, Sherri, have a very close relationship, and she's just the kind of mom everyone wants.
when the J's meet, Jared teaches Jensen that what he is isn't wrong or a sin or anything, and that he should love and accept what he is.
SO as I said, it's amazing. and you will fall in love with pretty much EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER.
(Jared's group of friends reminds me so much of my friends (attitude wise) so that just made me love them even more)
I can safely say you will cry at one point or another. My money is on crying towards the end of part 7, because god knows I did. I had to stop reading because the tears blurred my vision. ironically they were happy/sad tears.
Also, it's got an amazing soundtrack (Im listening to it right now)
and one of the art pieces is currently the wallpaper on my phone and I pretty much grin every time I look at it. (The art is linked in the master post. CHECK IT OUT!!!)
Sooooooo yeah, if you haven't already, go read this.
