All in a day's work
I have a lot to update about my job. I won't be able to do it all now, though. I'm on my way to the shower. But just so everyone knows, I survived the first two days (barely). The two main people did not think I would be coming back on Friday...Thursday was a ROUGH day. And then when they saw me on Friday, they go "You're back!" Haha! They totally thought they had scared me completely away. LOVE it! I believe it will be a lot better by Tuesday. That's when all the kids I've already had are moving to the school age group, or they will be starting to go to preschool or kindergarten themselves. So my numbers will be down. I believe I will only have 10 kids. And one of them will only be half day. I think it will get a little calmer! We also are starting this new program on Tuesday. The KinderCare main office has made a day by day, week by week lesson plan for every age group. I literally don't have to do much lesson planning. I think I might add in some of my own in there. I have a few ideas I want to do, mostly in terms of fall themes. But I just have to do the activities they have in the book (which I already have ALL the supplies for). Seriously, my supplies are NICE. They are really expensive, too, so I have to be sure to take care of them! They're materials that I cannot leave out for the kids to play with everyday. They will be out for the activity and then I have to make sure they get put away. I am pretty excited now. I will have a much more structured routine everyday and it'll definitely help the kids with their craziness! Alright, time to hit the shower, I'll give more details later!
