Ive made a decision! Im going natural

I will be cutting my hair off and no longer getting a perm! I Ive been thinking about this for a while now and after watching the movie Good Hair by Chris Rock I finally got the confidence in myself to just take the plunge. Im starting off slow, after doing the research it turns out this is harder than you would think I have to cut off the permed hair which I dont want to do. So im going to cut it shorter first like in a angled bob then im going to stop perming it anf just flat iron it if i need to. I herd your hair grows an half inch a month so by say December I would have grown 3 inches of hair. Ugh im so excited right now. Its like ive finally found a way to express myself. I can finally be free of who society says I should be. I dont need to look like a white person to be pretty I can be who God made me out to be and thats ok. In a year I will have 6 awesome inches of the beautiful natural curly hair that God gave me to celebrate who I am. WooHoo!
