I love SF <3~

Spent from Wednesday to this evening staying in the Castro (the gay district) with Kiriko ^______^ She and Kate and I and some of their friends had lots of adventures! And foods. A very many tasty noms.

Wednesday I went into the city and met up with Carrie, bought ADORABLE and bargain-type shoes at Nordstrom's Rack and then went for more shopping adventures and lunch in Noe Valley (a mecca for young moms with strollers and tiny dogs!). I'm doing my best the learn my way around the city. We then went over to Kate's for pie and then went to the Red Vick in the Haight (hippies!) to see The Hangover. We ate thai food and enjoyed the crazy movie. The Red Vick is one of the only theatres owned by the workers. Its pretty cool and quite hippy lol.

Thursday we went on a hunt for the delicious bubble tea found somewhere that I dunno the area of. . . maybe Inner Sunset (its a non-chinatown very asian centric area)? I dunno. LoL but! There was cheap dim sum to go, an adorable book store, and a crazy fish place that had allll kinds of fishies that one should not be able to buy for their home tanks ^^;; So much neat! And then we went and discovered awesome Pacific Ocean and crazy expensive houses in the Sea Cliffs. The ocean was pretty awesome. Gorgeous with the golden gate in the background, and rocky! Way rockier than the Atlantic. I'll post piccies of it later. Got some really good ones. We adjourned from the beach back to the Castro for a late lunch at Ike's Place. OMG Sandwiches of YUM. They happened to have been on Man vs. Food the night before, so it was busy and awesome. Spent a little time vegging and then went to the Academy of Sciences for a happy hour event they have. What an awesome museum! Most amusing, of course, was the random Everglades centerpiece that is the albino alligator and assorted fish and fake trees. LoL. Just can't get away! We went to Chow's after for dinner and dessert. Beet salad and then peach & raspberry cobbler. Such an awesome eating day! Thank god I walked about 6 miles!

Friday we ventured to Sausalito for touristy goodness. And it got HOT here. Like, rival FL hot at some point during the Sausalito excursion. Ate a winship and spent time in Starbucks cause there was air conditioning lol. Lots of art galleries and gorgeous views. And the Ferry ^_^ I love boats! MMm and tapas for dinner at a place in the Mission (where Kate lives & current food hub for SF). And of course all of the walking and hot required a run to the market so that Kiriko and I could make Cinnamon Challah Maple Pecan Bread Pudding of Yum. Om nom nom nomnomnom. In the toaster oven cause of technology fail.

Saturday was time for brunchies! <3~ Brunchies and those who loves it withs me! Lambic and egg frittata with tomatos and onion and cheese, return of the bread pudding and toast! Also chicken apple sausage (kinda a "thing" here), and tart fro-yo with fresh berries. so. much. nom. Then there was a trip to a yarn store! Where I made a New College connection and bought balls of yarn that Kiriko is going to turn into actual somethings!! Amazing!! Then there were totally cool people who are the bringers of Catan ^__^ I wined. And made things out of my blocks, first I spelled "PEEN," changed it to "COCK," and then made a picture of said object. And when I got up to use the facilities Kate made it flaccid ;_;

and tonight I discovered 2 people who live in Alameda! One of the awesome peoples who was at Kiriko's today (Nomi!) and a middle school/hogh school friend. So. Random!

Also I broke my glasses on thursday *headdesk*

Tomorrow Stacy and I will be going to a food festival and then having people over for dinner ^_^ Menu shall be baked lemon pasta (with lemon chicken for the non veggies!), roasted asparagus, and raspberry salad ^_^ And Chocolate cake.
