(no subject)
Our insurance at work is changing- we'll be having supplemental stuff through Aflac now, and because of this there is now an adorable plush talking duck on Lori's desk. OMG CUTE! I've moved it over to my side so it can keep me company today ^______^
Jacon was completely fabulous. Seriously. The room was obscenely awesome. There were 3 bathrooms! And lots of towel-swans and even a few chickens ^^ There were 2 bedrooms and a gigantic living room (with a dining room table), a functional bar area and even an in-room computer. The pool was right outside out door and the water was nearly hot-tub temperature (nice for our night swim but i don't know if I would have wanted to partake during the day).
The con itself was pretty cool too. The artist alley was painfully hot, but that was really the only drawback. I guess *laughs* Cons for me are not actually about the con but getting to see everyone, and in that light this con was the uber-fantastical! I saw pretty much everyone I had been wanting to (except, of course Kit and Aneesa who were not there) for at least a short time (Chino! Longer visits *pokes*). So yes, excellent weekend!!
Next weekend is also looking good ^^ Supercon with peoples! Bring your bathing suits again guys, especially if you're planning to do Memorial Day ^^ Still not totally sure what the plans are but they'll be the awesome. And *gasp* a con without a table? What are we to do?! *laughs* I figure if we decide we're bored we can always go to Morikami instead ^^;;
