Hmm. . . if I were to have a Harry Potter book release party would you attend? I'm talking all the fixings, themed food, prob games, fan-tacularness, and even hilarious readings of ff.net summaries ^^ Or perhaps some writing and/or drawing of our own cracktacualar wonderfulness.
We'd start maybe at 8ish (July 20th) and eat and such before heading over to B&N around 11 or so (we'd have to coordinate our preordering or just break up at this point) to get our books. Then anyone who wanted to be involved with the last bit would head back to my place where we'd all read into/through the night (hurray for coffee/tea!). Squeeing and crying together as needed. I think that even if we all read at different paces it'd be a unique, interesting, and exciting way to experience the last book. Reading for me is usually a solitary activity but I think this is something I'd like to share (and even if alone is something you need there's a bunch of different rooms to read in!). I mean really, when is something like this HP phenomenon EVER going to happen again?
So, yeah. Let me know if you're interested? Even if you're not a HP fan, getting together with everyone is always a great thing!!
