Once again, I'm trying Nanowrimo. (see www.nanowrimo.org) I'm going for 50000 words, but I don't guarantee that all of those words will be part of the same story arc. We shall see. My arthritic spine and four herniated disks are already feeling the effects of the colder weather,
and my last treatment for my seriously spasmed muscles didn't work as well as it should have - plus the pain management center decided to charge double for the same procedure I had three months ago. Now I have to wait another three months for another another series of shots and hope they work. And I'm still fighting to get Medicare to pay for the ones I just had. On top of that, the doctor wants me to have a sleep study, which would cost almost $5000 -right, like that's going to happen any time soon. I tried to tell him that I don't think I have sleep apnea, but he'd already spent more than ten minutes with me, so the nurse came in to force him on to the next patient. I can't sleep more than a few hours at a time because I'm in pain, I can't sleep in bed because if I turn over in my sleep I'll wake up screaming in pain, I have four cats who want to play all night and they cause crash/bangs that wake me up, I have two old dogs with health problems who need to go out every few hours - and did I say I'm in pain? I'm so hoping for universal health care insurance - we should all get the same great health insurance that our wonderful Congress has! And no, I'm not getting rid of my pets, and any doctor who suggests that is getting kicked in the groin area.
