Back in California

Welp, homesickness finally won. I moved back to California 4th of July weekend. Mike and me stayed at his Dad's place until we found an apartment in Davis. It is good to have you back in Cali! I lived in Davis for 2 years. It is not really a great place, but the farmers market on Wednesday night is fun. If you want some drunk chick action, the places you should go are:
Monday: The Grad for line dancing and then normal music after midnight. The line dancing is fun because you get to see people looking foolish, but if you can not stand the country music I would show up later.
Tuesday: town is pretty dead, but the theaters offer $4 movies
Wednesday: Sofia's Thai Restaurant, offers good food during the day (yay free refills on Thai Iced Tea!), and on Wednesday nights it has $1 drinks. The farmers market is good fun in the early evening. There is also a brewery called Sudworks, or something like that, and it has $1 pints of beer and $2 pints of cider. Sudworks generally has the more mellow grad student crowd, while Sofia's has the more wild undergrads.
Thursday: La Cantina, Froggies and Pasta ? are all OK, and all right next to each other. This is generally the busiest night during the school year, since everyone tries not to have Friday classes and goes for the long 3 day weekend.
Friday-Saturday: Leave town. Everyone heads for either Sacramento or San Francisco. There is another farmers market on Saturday morning, but it is not as much fun as the one on Wednesday night.
