Newsflash - Dick Valentine doesn't actually look gay!

I'm knackered.

At about five this morning, I woke with a start. It was still dark out, I could just see the stars as little dots in the lavender. I didn't have time to enjoy that though, as something urgent was pressing on my mind:

Do I have a German test today?

After that one question, the metaphorical crickets started chirruping in my mind. My heart skipped a few beats for good measure as a feeling of impending doom came down on me with all the grace and tact of a dead sperm whale.

Due to various factors, if I mess up my impending German test, the chances of me passing this year are slim indeed. The possibility of me having a German test in four hours' time and me not having revised for it was quite grave indeed.

Luckily for me I eventually fell asleep, despite all my worrying and lo and behold, I didn't have a German test, although I did have a lovely messed-up sleep pattern to make up for it.

In other news, I'm going to a party tomorrow. The lovely people who are celebrating are Alex and Ellen, Alex has just turned eighteen and Ellen either has or will do as well at some undetermined point in the future, in my mind. Yes. However, before I cycle over to their place on my cruddy bicycle, I'll head over to Marijn's because he has two things I need: Princess Mononoke and the route to Alex and Ellen's party.

And now for something completely different. Next Tuesday, my bitch Kim is going to the hospital for treatment of her port wine birthmark. It's some kind of new-fangled laser treatment. That's all fine and dandy with a nice lacy frill, save for one minor aspect: they're going to be frying her face without painkillers. Yum.

To cheer my squishy sidekick up, me and Marijn and possibly a Special Guest are going to abduct her on Wednesday and take her out. It should be fun, if it isn't we'll go look for someone who isn't as well off as us and laugh at them or something along those lines.

Thank you, and goodnight.
