(no subject)
After some thought, I've decided to participate in NaNo this year. I started, last year, but it was really bad timing considering my school issues (before I dropped out- lol I'm a dropout), we had just moved, and baseball.
Always fuckin' baseball.
So, I'm trying again. See if I can make it past ten thousand words before I have to drop something.
In other news, I've given up trying to get anyone to do ANYTHING around here for me. Every time I get my hopes up, it crashes. This time I'm not telling anyone about NaNo, or anything else. I've been trying to get someone to take my discs in to be repaired or to buy some CD goop to use on them for NINE MONTHS dammit. I'm expected to COOK for people and no one listens to what I say needs to be bought at the store; a week ago I said multiple times that we were out of oil. No, sorry, I can't make fries/cake/brownies/fried tortillas because YOU WON'T LISTEN TO ME ABOUT THE DAMNED OIL.
I'm SICK of this. Ugh.
Does anyone know anything about disc repair, then? This time I need it for more than my games, I found our copy of Microsoft Office but the disc has a few deep scratches in it. AND NO ONE WILL REMEMBER TO BUY MY GOOP.
...I'm watching Numb3rs episodes right now. Online shopping is a remarkable thing. I now have season numero uno. I've seen season three on tv (GAH COLBY DOESN'T MAKE SENSE), but I have to say that I'm surprised I haven't run into a bad episode in season one yet. They're all about the same quality, unlike season three which fluctuates (I can't think of the right terms, lol) from awesome to eye gouging. (Did I spell that right?)
Oh, and remember that novel concept that my Dad wants done? I honestly can't think of where it would go. I have the idea, I have four and a half main characters (I need to figure out Mr. Half-a-Character), but I don't know what I'm doing with it. Beginning/end/antagonist/whatever. Any thoughts/prompts/anything?
