Donate a Deck
I'm taking image donations for the following types of decks at the moment:
♥ Character-centric anime decks (screencaps, official art, anime-styled TCG cards, etc. Please try including images from throughout the entire series.)
♥ Character-centric manga decks (if there are colored images, please include those. Please try including images throughout the entire series.)
♥ Tenimyu actor decks (try having more images of the actor as their Tenipuri character than other kinds of photoshoot images. You must have at least 16 images of the actor in character. Screencaps from the musicals are also okay if not a lot of official photos are available. I will only use at most 5 shots of the actor outside of their character shots)
♥ Episode-centric decks (please include poignant images spanning the entire episode.)
♥ Musical-centric decks (please include poignant images spanning the entire musical. I will at least pick one image per song. Dream Lives are divided into 4 decks. If you could divide Dream Live donations into 4 logical sections, that would be very helpful!)
♥ Live action decks (Cinepuri and Chinese PoT go under this category. For Chinese Tenipuri episodes, I divide each episode into two decks. If you could divide your donation into two sections for each episode, that would be helpful. For character decks, please include images that span the entire 20 something episodes.)
♥ Doubles Pairs (For two characters to qualify for a doubles deck, they must have played doubles together in some way. Please include a variety of images with the two characters together spanning from the manga to the anime and even the games. Remember that cards are vertical so the characters need to be standing closely for them to fit in the card. I am also taking donations for doubles pairs in other media, meaning Kikumaru and Oishi can have one deck for anime/manga/game images, one deck for Tenimyu first cast, one for second cast, one for Chinapuri, etc!)
We also have these types of decks, but I'm not currently looking for donations for these.
♥ Opening/Ending decks (I can mostly do these myself, so I'm not really looking for donations for these unless you can get screencaps from creditless openings or endings.)
♥ School decks (School decks feature all the characters in that school with some kind of theme, ie: an all chibi deck of Seigaku, or a deck with all Hyoutei characters in their school uniform)
♥ Puzzle decks (I mostly make these from images I come across or from images in donations that really stand out.)
♥ miscellaneous decks (anything that doesn't fit anywhere else)
Donation rewards are currently set at 3 random cards and 1 random item per donation. :)
Steps:
- Claim a deck to donate to over at Suggest and Claim a deck. This lets me know what people are gathering images for.
- Reply in the correct threads (ie: if you're donating an anime deck, please comment under "Donate Anime Decks Here".)
- Label your comment with [Donation][character name/tenimyu actor name/episode #/musical/etc] (ie: [Donation][Kirihara Akaya (manga)], [Donation][Episode 24])
- Within your comment, please comment with:
Name: (Your name)
Suggested deck names: (try having some backups too)
Reason for the deck name:
Link: Link to a zip of the images. Use your own webspace or a free upload site like Mediafire.
- Once the deck has been made, I will reply with a comment with a link to the deck and your donation rewards.
- Please include 30 or more images if possible. Make sure images are high quality. Please do not edit the images in anyway. Please use official art. No fanart or doujinshi.
- One donation per comment please!
If you don't suggest a name, I will name it some random name that I think fits. Sometimes I push decks back because I don't know how to name them! I will definitely need name suggestions for Tenimyu actors because I'm not as familiar with them. Try not to suggest special moves as deck names because I'd like to save them for special moves decks. But if the special move isn't a common one, (like moonsault that only Gakuto uses) then it's fine. But for names like super rising, serve, higuma otoshi, and so forth, I would like to save them for other decks.
