Lately, I've been taking advantage of the gift of a 2 week pass to Back bay yoga to thoroughly immerse myself in yoga classes. My body's reacted to classes the way it does to candy - I just want more. It makes me sad to think of how often I let myself slide out of shape and away from physical activity because my body loves the attention it gets in a work out. I shouldn't let the fact that my room is no longer directly above a workout room (or my house outside a lake path) stop me from getting exercise! Right now having gotten a feel for the classes at Back Bay Yoga, I have a suspicion that my favorite is going to be either the mysore, ashtanga, or yin yoga classes but I've still yet to try them out. I'm going to try the either the 8:15 class tomorrow or the 4:00 Saturday class and see how it goes. It depends on whether I feel up to it after trying hip hop yoga tonight :) By my reckoning I have another week of classes before my pass runs out and I plan to do my best to get everything in.
Otherwise I haven't been up to anything that producing things I could show other people. I've hung out with a lot of people, some new some old, and done a lot of roving on my own. I've done some more work on my personal statements, and I've been working on catching up with my correspondence. There are people out there that I owe reams of letters to, but that's pretty much always the case. This is a good writing week, all of the voices in my head feel perfectly balanced.
