I am so fantastically awesome!
Or at least, my Halloween costume is. I went to the thrift store, and got almost everything I needed for my Amelia Peabody costume for under 20 bucks. Now I just need a parasol (hidden sword optional but preferred) and my utility belt with excavation tools, pistol, rope, candle, matches, and flask.
Bwahahahahaha!!!
Also got some stuff for Collin's costume, which is equally awesome but it will be more entertaining (for me!) to see everyone's expressions when they see it in person.
I usually have terrible shopping karma, so when I show up to a place and they're having a sale - it's awesome! (BTW - Joanne's fabric has a 50% off sale this weekend. I waited in line for 3o minutes to get my fabric cut, but it was a super discount!)
Okay, squeeing over. I have to go figure out how to make my pith helmet stay on my head.
