[Sodia hears the scream before anything else. Rushing to Mithos' room, she stops short, staring at the blood seeping from the doorway. Not sure what to expect, she yanks the door open, one hand on her sword.]
Mithos?
[The blood that rushes out and over her nearly knocks her down, and the scent is impossibly nauseating.]
[The smell does nothing for him and the amount of it, while undesirable, isn't the worst part of it. Having the filthy, inferior blood covering him is worse. How he can't seem to escape it...how it's covering, tainting everything...how it just seems to remind him of Martel in his arms, bleeding to death all over him.]
[He looks up when the door opens and he tries to wipe some blood out of his face, but he accomplishes nothing. He remains on the bloodied bed, willing his body to begin shaking as the girl appears in the doorway.]
[Sodia wades through the blood, heedless of the way it covers her and splashes a little. She picks Mithos up without asking permission, slings him over her shoulder and heads for the door again.]
It's going to be okay, Mithos.
[She says it as firmly as she can, considering the amount of blood is making her sick.]
[Mithos stiffens in her grip, but he doesn't struggle despite the fact he doesn't want her, or anyone, to touch him. It's something that he hasn't been able to avoid all the time while pretending to be a normal boy and trying to get out of her grip in this situation wouldn't do him any good.]
[He doesn't say anything at the moment, he simply clings onto Sodia's back, leaving bloody stains where his hands are holding onto the clothes on her back.]
[She storms out of the house, leaving a trail of blood through the hall and entrance way and out onto the beach. Once in the sand she clomps down to the water, sets Mithos down and holds him as the waves wash around them.]
[He may be endlessly covered in blood, but the ocean at least can endlessly wash it away.]
Are you alright? Are you hurt?
[She's worried, concerned, but keeping a strong face over it, even if her voice is louder than she'd like, more urgent.]
I-I think so...I don't know what's happening to me.
[The blood washes into the sea, but it doesn't seem like any of it is disappearing from Mithos' body. No matter how much blood seems to be going into the water, it's as if more just replaces what was lost on his body.]

[Of course it has to be.] It should disappear in a day. As long as you're alright... I don't know what else we can do.
