patsy... you are one of the most compassionate and honest ppl i have ever met regardless of distance and how we know each other.
i got into an argument w/a friend once because of something that you said. i thought this was a good friend and she said something that did not make me happy and well... needless to say we're not friends anymore but not because of you.
that argument was because i thought it was amazing how you believe in me. you are my mr. jones except that you're not a boy... but... all anyone wants is to be believed in. you barely knew me but in all honesty i felt that you knew me better than my supposed "good friend" did.
you are still young and i know that you are probably tired of hearing that... but you still have time. and i honestly believe that it takes a really great guy to deserve you. i think this guy has to be thought provoking, honest, sympathetic, has strong beliefs, isnt afraid to speak his mind, a person who believes in you, is sensitive, has a great sense of humour, respects everything about who you are and what you believe in --- the whole patsy package, has great family values, and also he has to have an open mind to truly love you. i dont think a cute surfer boy w/dark hair and a tan will cut it...
you need someone that can challenge you as you challenge them. these nice boys are extremely rare... they're so hard to find but you will find him.
my old roommate is 23 and has never had a bf... never been on a date. she feels the same way you do... but i know she'll find someone... and all the guys she's liked i never really approved of.
keep your chin up. if you ever get sad about it... just remember that tons of girls are mistreated by guys and there are lots of girls who still havent found her yang (to her yin).
i'd rather have not have a guy if he wasnt worth it... i'd rather be single and be sad over boys than waste my time over someone who didnt deserve me.
i love you patsy. i dont post words of wisdom too often... only to ppl i really care about and to ppl i know and hope will listen.
please, smile.
you have so much going on... perhaps one day if you're open to it i can give you a tarot reading.
i hope you're feeling better from the bike accident, too.
call me if you need anything. im out of class around 2 your time and i dont work at all tonight.
