I hate having to do these since I have them at the office, but in order to create some sense of order in my life, I need to start incorporating these basic things as simple todo's at the end of the day or the week:
Everyday:
hang the clothes I wore or throw them in the laundry bag
make my bed
eat breakfast at home
make lunches to go
Keep the sink clean and clear
keep the kitchen table free of clutter
go to the gym
Once a week:
Laundry
sweep bedroom floors
fold my futon/air it out
sweep the house
open mail, pay outstanding bills
balance the checkbooks (this is where
amandasan 's spreadsheet will come into play!)
So I have to get a handle on what I'm doing to treat myself: accupuncture (for stress and ankle), physical therapy (for ankle), meds (for my personality disorder). The accupuncture and PT costs $15 dollars a session so if I do it once a week, that's four times a month at $120! What I really need is to find someone who will give me a massage and take my insurance to cover the costs. That's what I need to be shelling out $15 bucks for. Plus I've got my regular REAL primary care doctor and then my ALTERNATIVE homeopathic/Shaman doctor. I need to get a handle on these since it stresses me out to have to take 2 hours around my 8 hour work time to get these things done in a day.
