Lobby and Pizza

Timeline/Setting: Set about couple years after Chosen and shortly after The Avengers movie. Continuation of my early in the month fics of Xander and Natasha dating.
Author's notes(if any): nope. It’s fanfic…. Cue hand waving for ages and dates of characters.
“Go Nat. I'll head back to the tower and do something til you get home.” Xander said shooing off Natasha when her cell phone rang with the assemble alert.
The walk back was nice and they had eaten enough pizza there wasn't a large box to carry back. On the same block as the tower he realized that every other time had gone to the priavate residential floors Naty or Clint had brought him. Not sure what to do Xander walked into the lobby, found a bench, and sat down.
Naty I'm in the lobby. I don't know how to get to the theater on my own.
Jarvis's monitoring of the lobby security picked up a message of unusual person sitting in the lobby eating pizza out of a take out box and not looking around, in fact he seemed to be napping.
“Miss Potts.”
“Yes Jarvis?” Pepper said looking up from a book.
“Xander Harris is sitting in the lobby. I believe that when his date with Natasha was interrupted he returned to the tower but didn't try to access the private elevator.”
“I haven't had a chance to meet him yet. I'll bring him up. Thanks Jarvis.” Pepper said setting aside the book and getting up.
The guards behind the security desk stood up even taller when they saw Miss Potts walking in to the public lobby of the tower. This late on Friday nights the shops and businesses that were accessed from the lobby were closed and no one knew why the she was there. They were astonished when she walked past them to the pizza eating loiterer.
“Xander?”
Hearing his name Xander looked up to a woman wearing loose jeans and a faded band t-shirt. “Hi”
“I'm Pepper. A friend of Natasha's and would you like to come upstairs? We briefly met when you were here for that movie night after she was hurt.”
Looking at her for a minute Xander smiled, “I remember. You had a computer thing and put it away after Clint kept throwing popcorn at it. Thanks. I don't know how to get upstairs by my self and I'm running out of pizza.”
“When you come in the front door's you go down his hallway.” Pepper explained as he followed her.
