Librarian to Librarian Call

Summary: Jenkins and Giles have a history.

Timeline/Setting: Set after Chosen and anytime after the end of season one for the librarians.
Author's notes(if any): nope. It’s fanfic…. Cue hand waving for ages and dates of characters.
Cassandra watched Jenkins flip form one book to another intently reading. Stopping to sigh then reach for the phone. “It's Jenkins. I need to double check something. No I paid for that. You owe me for the, anyway I'm on a rush. Yes that helps Giles.”
“Fellow Annex keeper?” Cassandra asked when Jenkins hung up the phone and looked back to his notes.
“Hmm. No but he has worked as a librarian.”
“You mean book and late fees librarian?” Jake asked looking up from a book of paintings.
“You need to what?” Jenkins asked into the phone not seeing Baird and the librarians come into the room behind him.
“How much storage are you needing? How soon? We can handle that. Are you in your office?” Jenkins asked pulling the phone over to the globe.
“Jenkins, who are we storing something for?” Baird asked seeing Jenkins starting to fire up the back door.
“Giles.”
“Well that's helpful. Did he say what he needs stored?” Baird continued asking wanting more or any information about what would be coming to the library because some how trouble will follow.
“He didn't have time. We knew each other when Giles was young and I've kept up with what his work is. What ever it is must be dangerous or important and we would be an appropriate place to keep it.”
Looking to Stone and Ezekiel he nodded for them to open the doors.
“Giles! Open your closet door!” Jenkins yelled at the closed doors on the other side.
Everyone on the Annex side of the doorway watched the door get flung open to a man appearing of similar age to Jenkins with a younger man and woman behind him.
“Thank you. Dawn, Xander, this is Jenkins. We've known each other for a long time.” Giles said stepping aside.
Looking from Giles to Jenkins, Dawn spoke, “What's your opinion of Rayne?”
“I'd like to stuff him into a black hole but he would find some way of causing trouble in there.” Jenkins quickly responded.
“Works for me.” Xander said moving to push a heavy duty cart that was piled high with old books and a couple of boxes through the doors.
Baird was watching Giles looking to Jenkins and Jenkins's solemn nod and Giles's fond look at the two with him.
Baird was the only one not surprised when Giles pushed Xander and Dawn through the door after the cart and slammed the door shut behind them.
“I really shouldn't be surprised he did that.” Jenkins said looking to where they landed.
