Oh, and extra special props for this line, because practically everybody in Jackson's movieverse totally failed at such a commonsense notion:

The Jackson movieverse was sorely lacking in basic precautions I can't imagine Buffy ignoring. (The first time I saw Fellowship I was mentally yelling at the other 3 hobbits even before Frodo did. "Oh, sure, why not light a fire that will be seen for miles around when you know you have Nazgul chasing you? You might as well hang a neon sign! Did you think about that for even a second?")
Anariel may expect him back sooner rather than later, but certain Valar see an opportunity and have some conditions in mind. I am not at all frustrated that work is keeping me so busy I haven't had time to work on Arwen's death/what happened next/Anariel's arrival in Aman... If I'm lucky, I may get some of Tindomiel's forays into Mandos written.
