Poor Joyce? Or lucky Joyce? Not sure which qualifies. lol. Plus what a shock to have everything be about her and not her daughter or the scoobies.

It's certainly a shock to her system. Just trying to work out her place in the world (before she even starts to fix it) will be a challenge for her - especially with aliens added to the mix.

Holy crap on a cracker! Now the freaky part - which you already hinted at - was Buffy's existence now that Joyce married Jack instead of Hank. Does Buffy exist (and is she Joyce's daughter)?

You know, I actually had planned to leave the fic here because I figured nobody (but me) would like it because it leans towards the dark side (namely the implication of Joyce's wish), but now I'm thinking it might be a sequel in there. :)

Joyce deserves more fanfiction love so I'm greatly enjoying your use of her and I think she and Jack would get along smashingly.

Joyce is a character that I'm really enjoying writing about. Thus far, all my fics have been about either Joyce or Dawn. All the plot bunnies I have jumping around are centered on those two, so I'll just keep going with it until they run out. I think Joyce and Jack are a nice pair, too.
