Summary: Out of town for a Comic book convention Andrew has to hit the comic stores in the area.

After the second day of the comic book convention Andrew had a few places on his list that he wanted to visit before he had to leave the city. This stop was proving to be a pretty decent comic shop. A good selection of action figures and models. Impressive display of clothes. All of the current comics.
Andrew was exploring the store as Rona leaned against the counter after reading the spindle of bumper stickers. Threw the glass door she was able to watch two men approach the comic store. They looked like they would have fit in very well at the comic convention she had accompanied Andrew to that day and the day before. The entered the shop mid sentence, or mid argument as it sounded.
“Where else would we go on new comic day? The home and garden store?” The taller geek said.
“We spent all day looking at comics, isn’t that enough for one day?” The one with dark hair with some curl to it asked.
The first geek was silent for a couple of heartbeats before declaring “I think not.”
As the comic enthused geek started to look at the displays of comics the other apparently less geek sighed.
Rona asked, “Down the street at the hotel?”
“That’s the one. Oh hi, I’m Leonard and that’s Sheldon.” Leonard pulled his bag higher on his shoulder as he waved toward Sheldon who wasn’t far from where Andrew was about to drool over some comic.
“Rona. We were there today also. I got sent along to make sure he didn’t buy so much he wasn’t able to bring it all home with him or get into trouble.” She introduced her self, “The guy next to Sheldon is Andrew.
“I’m his roommate and ride. I like comics but I told Penny that I would help her with her computer tonight.” Leonard sighed thinking about how nice and pretty that Penny was.
Rona grinned, she had seen that look on some of the other slayers, “Hoping it will lead to something else?”
Walking by on his calculated circuit of the store Sheldon answered, “He’s been hoping for two years. They tried once but they made the Hindenburg look like a fender bender.”
Sticking up for his self and Penny Leonard’s retort was said to Sheldon’s back, “We did not and we’re still good friends.”
Nodding her head Rona asked, “Does Penny know him?”
“Yes. She lives across the hall from us.”
“I think she might understand if you’re late or I could give him a ride. Andrew is going to try and stay till this place closes and I saw him sneak in a power bar thing.” Always the romantic Rona wanted to give love a chance.
“You sure you don’t mind?” Excited at the thought of helping Penny, Leonard was temped to take her up on her offer.
“Nah.”
“Hey Sheldon. Leave now with me or stay and get a ride home from Rona and Andrew?” Leonard asked pointing to Rona and Andrew. Andrew that he had been debating with but had never bothered to introduce his self to.
Not moving from his spot Sheldon started his own inquisition, “Do you have a valid drivers license?”
“Yes.”
“Working car with no maintenance needed or check engine lights lit?”
“Yep and a tank full of gas.”
“Do you promise to obey all traffic laws and the speed limit?”
“Yes.”
“Okay.” Satisfied with the answers Sheldon returned to his debate with Andrew.
“Wow. Thanks.” Shocked Leonard didn’t expect Sheldon to accept a ride from a stranger so easily.
“Go on, have fun with Penny.” Rona smiled gently pushing Leonard toward the door.
