"[…]My, meet the hidden princess. I think we’ve found a match, don’t you? I’m Ethan Rayne, by the way, ”
“It’s amazing, but…” The blonde responded, running a hand over pink and fuchsia fabric.
“Rather pink? I agree. But,” Ethan pulled aside a curtain and grinned, “We have more in the back.”
Buffy sighed and looked at the row of gowns wistfully. “I’m sorry, there’s no way I could ever afford this.”
“Oh, nonsense, I feel quite moved to make you a deal you can’t refuse. After all, it’s not like I do this for money,” Ethan laughed softly. “Besides I can make up any loss if you’ll spread the news about my little shop. After all, word of mouth is worth just as much money.”
“Well…” Buffy trailed off.
“C’mon Buff,” Willow added, “this is what you were looking for right? A chance to impress Angel?”
“Well, if you wish to look, go ahead. I’ll be back in a bit, I see a few other customers who seem to need my help.”
“Alright, thanks,” Buffy smiled, “C’mon Wills, Xander. Xander?” Buffy blinked and looked around.
“I think he went to at other stuff,” Willow responded, following the blond into the other room.

“Well, you’ve been in here quite a while. I take it you’ve found some you like?”
“Oh, Mr. Rayne!” the slayer looked up from where she was, “Yeah, I’m trying to make a choice now. Sorry, I’ve been back here for too long haven’t I?”
“Not at all my dear. Now, which costumes were you thinking about?”
Buffy held up a selection of dresses in response, a flowing white dress, a smaller blue and orange dress in an eastern style, and several others.
“Ahh, yes. Good choices. Which are you leaning towards?”
“I’m thinking the white one, but the others are nice too.”
“Well now. That one has a story behind it. The man I bought that dress from told me that it was inspired by an old myth from Japan about a moon princess. According to the myth she was supposed to be a beautiful princess, but also a capable warrior when pressed to it, especially in defense of her friends.”
Buffy grinned as Ethan continued to the story and explained the origins of the other dresses as well. She’d made her choice.

“Oh jeeze, mini yoma? Where am I?! The dress-clad blond said, eyeing the street and the swarming mini-monsters, “Moon Prism Power, Make-Up!”
“… Buffy?” The ghostly-Willow blinked, watching as her friend’s costume seemed to glow and shift into a bizarre looking and extremely revealing sailor suit.
“For Love and Justice, the pretty sailor suited soldier Sailor Moon! In the name of the moon I will punish you!”
