Three people laughed at something as they walked through the grave yard. Two woman, both shorter than the man they flanked. Laughing until one girl sat down on the ground before declaring, “Here I shall stay, for I am unable to finish the walk home with you.”

The man pulled the other girl close, tucking her face to his chest as she started to sob. He pulled a rose dripping blood out of his pocket to drop on the now dead girl. They slowly walked to a hotel, about to go into a room the still sniffling girl asked, “Why did she have to die on a Saturday? She loved Saturdays.”

“Al, stop dreaming, it’s a Saturday. Weekend, day of goofing off and laziness. Go back to sleep.”

Sitting up in bed Al, as she was called by the man in bed next to her, hurried to pull her robe on. “Sorry Joe, I have to keep someone from taking a walk in the cemetery.

*Knock knock*

The hotel room door opened as the man from her dream said, “Yeah? Can I help you?”

“I’m Allison Dubois, I know this will sound crazy but I had a dream about you last night.” Nervous and worried that she would be laughed off Allison hoped this man would at least listen to her.

His sudden intense and coherent alert stare unnerved Allison, “Tell me every thing in your dream.”

As she explained he nodded, his face unchanging. After she finished retelling what she saw in her dream he asked, “The girl who died, what color of hair did she have?”

“Blood red. The other girl’s hair was a light brown.” Unhesitatingly answered.

The man almost spoke, but a scream from inside the room had the man and Allison running toward the bathroom. “Xander, it went wrong.”

A box was thrust in Xander’s face, a box of nice auburn hair dye. The actual color that the dye left the hair was a memorable blood red.

Xander’s face immediate turned a nice white to contrast the red hair, placing a hand a shoulder of the two girls in the bathroom he announced, “Movie night, we don’t go out. Order dinner in. No one leaves the hotel room for any reason till daylight tomorrow.”

After the girls nodded compliance Xander turned to Allison, “Thank you, we owe you. If you ever need anything, anything at all, give us a call and we will do everything we can to help.”

Allison nodded as she took the man’s business card, pleased that her dream would not happen, but confused by the mans easy acceptance it.
