(She was brought up in Third Age Tirion by a father who kept her wrapped up in the elvish equivalent bubble wrap...)

And such a surfeit of grandfathers - perhaps Tinu should make use of her linguistic skills and add in Grandpere, and Abuelo!

First she'd have to explain those other languages...

Excellent additions to the series, as always. It took me until today to realize that I'd missed most of August for FAD posts, but at least I got to read a bunch of new bits all together! :)

Loved the family time at the beginning. I guess in the movie version, Arwen was successful in preventing Buffy's begetting, which is why she wasn't in it, right?
Sooo many grandparents! I have a feeling the three older kids are going to feel a little overwhelmed for quite a while with it all.
My question about Grandfather Ara is whether or not he picked up any of Buffy's thoughts as she was waking up, thinking her sister was in trouble. I can't imagine that would sit well with him and might make him seek out Elrond without pause. Can't wait to see what really happens.

Yes, that's it. Arwen interrupted things, thus no Buffy!
Arafinwë picked up her alarm and then pain, which was more than enough to worry him.
