I'm surprised someone hasn't come up with the idea of a 'dance card' already. Or are they all just that good at keeping things like that in their heads? Or the rules of who dances with who are very strict?

It just never occurred to them - and there's enough people that keep track of it well enough in their heads that there isn't too much drama about it!

I love it! All of it! So much I can’t even begin to decide what I like best! The conversations with Gildor and Arador were awesome. I’m so glad Buffy’s getting a new buddy. I’d love to see what Anariel would do to Lord Poop. I doubt she’d bother with him on her own behalf (since it seems like he’s mostly talk?), and Tinu’s probably not a target anymore since she’s married, but I wonder if she might not get defensive about Lissë at some point, since she’s very protective of her family. I can’t wait to see how the dancing is received, and what kind of things she gets to see when she finally gets to sleep. I wonder if Lomion is as stressed as the twins and Anariel, as far as how her sanity will hold up after this. It’s probably the biggest test, although after surviving meeting two Vala and seeing everything since creation twice in one night, what’s a bunch of elves?

Thank you!

I think Lord Poop may decide he's better off keeping his distance. (After all, Tindomiel was the "well-behaved one"...)

Gildor would have been a comfortable relief as she could speak to him in Sindarin - but presumably she is coping with the Quenya well enough with Arador; he is definitely going to be a good companion.

I wonder if Anariel will get on better with Lissë than Tindomiel does? (Is it my imagination or does Lissë end up with the very elf that Anariel almost managed to marry by accident?)

Also I love the twins dancing with their sister-in-law-in-law, as mine calls me!

Arador, being her own age, doesn't give a hoot about her Feanorian accent and is far too happy to have a like-aged cousin to let something so silly get in the way.

Anariel will definitely get on better with Lissë than Tindomiel does. And yes, there's a Legolas in Lissë's future - though it's doubtful I'll get her there this month.

So cool to see Buffy and Arador. That seems to be a friendship they don't need to worry about forming, though some may eventually regret it since Arador seems as full of mischief as Anariel.

Also, good job on Arador spotting the bare feet. ;-)

I'm sure starting off with Gildor was a relief for Buffy since he is a friend (or Uncle) of long standing.

Looking forward to what everyone else has to say about this and hopefully see a few Arador+Anariel adventures (or misadventures).
