OK. I don't know what "Ready Or Not" was, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to know either. It doesn't sound pleasant.

Hopefully, Grace will either reject the inheritance or foil W&H, though I don't think anyone ever foils them for long.

Interesting tale.

It was the other stylish/quirky murder movie that came out around the same time as Knives Out. Much more on the horror side than the mystery side, though, with a literal contract-with-the-devil involved.

Thanks for reviewing!

That's an interesting premise, and right up Wolfram & Hart's alley.

It sounds like this movie is everything I thought Knives Out would be, but more sinister. After everything she's been through, I'd still place my bets on Grace. There's something about underestimated but determined blondes in the movie-verse that makes me feel like she's a sure thing.

Yeah; movies still often come in pairs in Hollywood, and where Knives Out was the "stylish/quirky murder movie, heavy on the mystery", Ready or Not was the "stylish/quirky murder movie, heavy on the horror." Grace is definitely the best thing to come out of it; she does just keep triumphing!
