Title: Frustration and Talking

Summary: More talking, more frustration
Timeline/Setting: Couple years after Chosen and within a couple weeks after Jack moves to Washington DC after being promoted. same univers and same week as the earlier fics of mine this month/year.
Author's notes(if any): nope. It’s fanfic. Cue hand waving for ages and dates of characters., and lining up timeline of the tv shows.
"So that's how you were injured." Carter asked pointing to Kyle's crutches and Lady Finn's arm brace.
"Yea, how did you all get banged up?"
If they worked together how come Xander needed to ask how their injuries occurred. Who knew about these people, what they did, and had enough authority to order them to be his new security team?
"A big group of those carnivorous look like buffalo but walks upright things was eating a village's sheep and cattle herds. We were checking to make sure we got them all, then we found where a couple injured ones had hid. That's when we got all banged around." Kyle explained waving his arms around while he explained how big the demons were.
"It could have been from tripping over someone's pack at the camp later that day and breaking an arm"
"Who did that?" Toby asked, thinking it sounded like something Mouse would do.
"Dawn."
As some of the commandos laughed Jack frowned and pointed at Xander, "How long have you known them? And under what authority do you operate, who do you answer to?"
"They freshmen in college General. Nineteen year olds came in and saved the day with magic. They don't really work under anyone. President Ryan tries to work with them."
"I don't know. I let Giles take care of that stuff." Xander happily said after Miller summarized how powerful Willow and Xander's employers were.
"You were nineteen? And you're hunting down girls to join your crusade?"
Xander calmly watched Jack start to pace and get angry, sometimes when someone gets the introduction to Slayers and Demons it's good to have a friend to talk with and slowly let the new person get used to the idea and figure things out as they went instead of getting a lecture from someone.
"Not join. Inform. We forced open doors for their abilities and potential futures. We need to let them know what options they have or can do with those now open doors."
"You opened doors."
"Yes. Willow blew a door open so wide it was destroyed and all the girls who were potential slayers became a slayer to fight the biggest evil. A fight to save the world and we didn't hold any resource back. We blew up the school for high school graduation, the timing would have been right for blowing up the town at Willow's college graduation. She was going to graduate early if she wanted to but she was determined to get another degree. Triple major she said it was."
"You opened a door and blew up a town."
Sanchez let a smile escape hearing Cassie whisper to Carter, "Sounds like your plans."
"Blew up the town and closed the hellmouth for permanent."
"What is a hellmouth!?"
"I told Giles we should make flashcards or something."
