I don't think Jack will take it well when he realizes that Buffy is from another dimension/universe and not suffering entropic cascade failure. On the other hand, it might give him peace by confirming what he suspects.

Buffy, however, will hopefully not be locked in a lab, prison or anywhere else. I think it's really beginning to sink in for her that she's alone in this world and her bio-parents may be the only link she has.
