August is my favourite month. It’s winter here, I usually have a cold for at least part of it, and I’m just over the cold and want to see the sun again. But it’s Fic a Day month and that means I will get to spend time in Middle Earth with Anariel and Tindomiel ( ... )

Aw, thank you! Comments like this are why I'm making an effort to make sure I actually manage a fic a day, despite this month being horribly busy. I hope August is treating you as well as possible for winter. (I am also terribly sorry I'm so behind in replying to comments.)

I was wondering while reading about her battle against Morgoth, especially after the results of her war cry, if she wasn't projecting more of her battle to those in her proximity.
After all she is particularly powerful with osanwe.

It seems at least one grandfather was privy to some of it. I hope it didn't disturb him too much.
After all, just reading it was hard and she is family and loved.

Aside from a few key moments, Anariel didn't actually project very much. When she thought about walling herself into a cage match, it was a fairly accurate reflection of what she did - she wanted to make sure Tindomiel wasn't going to be drawn back in (or try to get back in deliberately) and she did a very good job of it. Aside from a few moments and all those tell-tale injuries, for the most part anyone near her would have noticed the negative space - the not being able to sense her fëa or see normal reactions from her - more than anything else.

(Apologies for the delayed response.)
