I'm not familiar with Perry Mason, but it would've done the gang good to have a built in lawyer. :)

Very good to have a lawyer. Nut they're kids and wouldn't think of it. As for Giles, British and American legal systems are different.

Most of the Perry Mason books, tv series (fom the 60's) and 80's tv movie remakes are about Perry defending innocent people against murder charges that seem a sure thing.
