(no subject)
It seems my winter break here is 3½ months long. The summer break seems to be a normal 2½ months. My first thought was “gosh, that’s a loooong break winter break”, and then I wondered how there’d be time for school with such long breaks. And, then I remembered that November to February, when I have winter break, are cold as fuck in Korea. >_< I’ve decided to break for winter in warmer climes. New Zealand, definitely. Maybe Brazil and/or Costa Rica. Footie, if you haven’t quit smoking already, now’s the time. ;oPPP Or I’ll be going to NZ without you.
Met with my school-assigned mentor yesterday. Since she hadn’t contacted me, I decided to be all social butterfly and invite her out for coffee and a chat. She’s a nice girl, and easy to talk to. I see the signs of a budding friendship. I think I shocked the hell out of her when I told her how old I was, though. She thought I was 22.
It seems we have another typhoon coming in next week. I hope it doesn’t hit on Monday (well, actually, I hope it turns and doesn’t hit at all). We have a campus tour on Monday. As skilled as I have become at using an umbrella in the middle of a typhoon, I don’t want to tour campus like that.
Myrrh, sorry I've been a rotten friend lately. I'll put in an effort to do better.
