Lost Cell Phones and Sanity
Well Nicki came over last weekend and we spent most of the time just hanging out in the apartment poking at each other and doing nothing. And then the cable guy came over and we found out the whole A side (which is required for the internet) doesn't work. But the B side is awesomely endowed with all kinds of channels like Spike, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, etc. We think he was just forkin' cool and just gave us all the damn channels. We love him^^. Then we watched a lot of cheesy Bruce Campbell movies....they were awesome^^. And Nicki had to leave....when she discovered she didn't have her cell phone. So we tore my apartment and room apart. Then we tore her car apart. Then we drove back to where she parked. Finally, I retraced her foot steps and found it lying between two apartment buildings quietly ringing and blinking to itself. Then she came up one final time, I burned her some music and she wandered back home. Then yesterday I put dreadlocks in my hair....they hurt like a son of a bitch so I took them out. Chris was disappointed. Sus3an was kind enough to braid ALL of my hair into little tiny braids and tie them off and now I have dreadlocks of a different variety. I kinda like them. I alluded them to wind chimes....of hair....on my head^^. But they're good. I'm kinda wondering how long they'll last and if I'll have to take them out before I go to a wedding in October....Mother Dearest would kill me^^. I got up today for no particular reason to go to a pointless class and then come back home. It was a fruitful day. So yeah...it's been good. I wish I could get a job or something but apparently I'm not too desired in the market right now. Go figure.
