Home again
Drove up to Seattle for Steena's dad's funeral. It was a really nice service, I love hearing stories about people just sad that they usually come up at times like this. Noel went with me and that helped a lot with making the drive seem less long. I even let him drive on the way back which is not something I'm usually comfortable with people doing (driving my car when I'm in it).
Steena's mom really picked a perfect place to have it, near the water and boats going through the locks. My charge from both her mom and her sister are to 'take care of Steena'. I promised to do my best.
And in the small world respect, one of my co-workers was at the funeral.
Back home now. I think I'm heading to bed already. I'm exhausted.
