Whee
Thanks to metmerc, I now have a functioning bike. Which one would think would rid me of the excuse why I don't bike places and it will for the most part eventually. However I want to bike to the gym, which means buying a light. Etc. I can still think of all these things I want and 'can't' ride it til I get them which is totally untrue. I have a helmet and I'm pretty sure I have a lock I just have to verify I have the right keys for said lock. I also need to sell my not quite functioning bike now that I've purchased this one.
I'm debating about storing it outside. Since Jacob moved, the post near my door is now 'available' for bike lockup, but there's potential for it to get wet...ok rather it will get wet at least the front part of it and I just don't know that I want to do that. Unfortunately the place I want to lock it up that's totally covered and out of the elements, has so many bikes locked up that if I lock mine there then other people won't be able to get to theirs. For now, it's down in the basement. Once I sell my bike I'll try to decide where I want to store it when I'm using it more often.
