Ah Poo...
All my muffins are sick :(
We took my cats to the vet this morning. Jupiter just for a check-up and Rueberry to get her tooth ache taken care off. But when they weighed her they realized she has lost even more weight, even though she has been eating up to 4 cans a day. They think she might have diabetes or a thyroid problem. They did some blood tests and decided they didn't want to do the procedure because it would involve putting her under which is dangerous if she had one of the above mentioned problems. :( They decided to give Jup a teeth cleaning instead because they need to put him out anyway to so much as weigh him. (he is a hellion at the vet) So Rue may be very ill and Jupiter is still at the vet.
After coming back home I went back to sleep but was woken up some time later by my phone. It turned out to be Ben's dad calling to tell me Ben is in the hospital up in Binghampton. He passed out while setting his room up at his new school. He hit his head in the fall and was unconscious for a bit. They did a CAT scan and what-not so they know his spine is ok. But since it's a head injury they are keeping him over night
so i'm waiting for a call to go pick up my groggy cat, another to find out if my other cat is majorly ill and yet another for an update on Ben : (

Ben is coming home. When he passes out he had a seizure apparently. And the hospital discharged him... WTF! So his parents are bringing him home and taking him to a doctor who realizes some one with a head injury who just had a seizure should not be released.
