so today i got this job:
Research Officer C.A.R.E Employment
C.A.R.E Employment is a not for profit charity that assists people with mental health disabilities achieve and maintain open employment
Position: Research Officer (casual position approximately 3 months)
Responsible To: Executive Officer
Service: CARE Employment (Enfield)
Responsibilities Include:
To assist the Executive Officer in sourcing, researching and writing tenders and project submissions as well as other written submissions.
To provide project management assistance, development and co-ordination
Research and produce communication media as directed by the Executive Officer.
Work closely with the Executive Officer to achieve timely outcomes.
General:
(a) Provide reports to the Executive Officer as requested.
(b) Any other relevant duties as required.
The ideal person will have superior research, writing and analytical skills.

it's only for 3 months (assured work anyway - which is good, means i don't have to squash the UK plans), but i have to work ina little room, with a computer, doing..well i'm kind of confused/scared about that aspect. but like social research (even if it is primarily of the funding submission writing kind) - isn't that kind of like one of my dream jobs? i couldn't believe when i got an interview, even...
i don't know why i finally able to post here. maybe cos this feels semi substantial after a month or so of everything feeling so unreal.
