After celebrating Kazu-chan birthday last night by watching his Jounetsu Tairiku interview for the nth time (I swear I fall in love with the boy more every time I watch that), today's my kuya's (older brother) day. But he is still out of the city and only plans to return in August because he said he doesn't want to commute on weekends. :D How he survives without the internet is beyond me.
There are things I want to flail about but I seem to have lost the will to do so. My viewing has been reduced to an hour each night and the occasional sneak into the mp4 videos I have but so much for checking on what's going on here or commenting on people's entries I am a complete failure at the moment.
My alter ego (real life self) has taken over completely but I guess it is necessary. I need to have space for the theories of Plato, Aristotle, taxation laws, historical studies and media theories... it is what we call a "theoretical" semester with more than half of my subjects dealing with them. There's thesis writing, specialized writing, land reform and taxation, literary criticism, ethics. Among the other subjects which include filipino journalism, sports journalism, and broadcast journalism. I seriously wish this university offered electives. -___- I would've wanted to take a language class or something.
I think my fangirling should balance the craziness of academic requirements because right now I'm staring at Plato's Republic on my desk. Good thing my ethics professor seems cool but seriously...
I believe I've bored you long enough and I applaud you for reading through that. I just pretty much wanted to say I'm busy and I want to fangirl with you girls. LOL
So dear alien buddy
snoew tagged me to do this and I've been thinking about this for the past few days and I somehow got the feeling of nostalgia going through the past experiences.
1. Think of 15 short bits of interesting stuff about yourself. And they've gotta be true.
2. Come up with 5 false statements regarding yourself, but for fun's sake keep them in the threshold of believability.
3. Jumble them all up together and list them in any order.
4. Post them on LJ and let people guess which the five false ones are!
5. Get 5 others to do the same. (I still rebel against these things and I won't force anyone to do it... it would be fun to read more about you guys though ^____________^)
6. DON'T CHEAT BY READING THROUGH THE COMMENTS EITHER. THAT'LL RUIN THE FUN. D:Happy
1. I was known in the family as Tweety Bird not only because I loved he/she/it but because I looked like he/she/it as a baby.
2. I like going to the dentist.
3. My favorite color is green and you'll always see me wearing green.
4. I get very irritated easily but I'm not the type that holds grudges. I forgive people too easily.
5. I paint in my free time.
6. I did not grow up with my older brother. He grew up with my grandfather while I lived with my parents.
7. I'm like an old lady because I sleep at around 10 and wake up around 5 in the morning.
8. I cook when I have time.
9. The first language I learned as a kid was English and I used the word "inverted" when I was three years old when my dad inverted the camera he had on me.
10. I eat balut (fertilized duck or chicken egg with a nearly-developed embryo) but I can't stand lengua (cow's tongue).
11. I burp like a guy but I can only do that at home.
12. I walk around when I brush my teeth.
13. I dislocated my knee exactly a year after the Sept 11 tragedy and endured the most painful car ride to the hospital in my life.
14. I love being in tall buildings and then looking out at the vastness.
15. It was Matsujun who once said "What bothers me really bothers me..." and I agree with him wholeheartedly thus I turn into an obsessive creature who as a child once cried because in my days of the week handkerchief the "Sunday" one was missing and it took me some time to get over it.
