Somewhere Along The Way I Lost Myself
How much of your real self do you show to other people? Or I should better ask: How much of your real self CAN you show to other people?
We live in a world where it's all about image and keeping up a certain image for that matter so once you decide to go against a certain image you've carried expect to be criticized in one way or another.
But we forget that everything in this world is a matter of perception.
My specialized writing professor said yesterday that the truth is embedded in fact that's why journalists report facts because it's the truth. In that context I agree with him but when it comes to the truth about people I believe there is no absolute truth and everything is a matter of perception. So even if you try to explain yourself to other people, it wouldn't matter because as long as they adhere to the "truth" they believe you are part of then it will be hard to erase that perception.
I've come to learn to stop pleasing other people and no matter what I do there would be someone who'd try to break me. It honestly hurts especially since I'm not as strong as I would like to believe I am. But I'm tired of living behind other people's shadow. I'm tired of being placed under a microscope where I get scrutinized for every single mistake. I am only human, my faults are aplenty and my success are all half chance.
I probably have been listening to Baz Luhrmann too much but the optimistic soul inside me relishes the wise words of Mary Schimich.
I think this speaks the truth but then again that is a matter of my perception. I think I'm off to go find the "me" I once lost.
I've just grown tired of living life like this so while I'm literally sweating my ass off after my workout (I swear I sweat like Sho after he eats spicy food :D) I believe I'm ready to let go of this horrid habit. I hate it when I get frustrated over RL too much. A-and I'm happy I just found out I don't have my 1 PM class today... I do have my 6-9 later tonight. XD

Anyone else read sumoboy's latest translation of Otonaha?
I love reading Sho's entries. It's like he's talking directly to you. This time he talked about his fracture and how the members, his manager and family treated him after the injury. His little brother is adorable and Arashi, well, they're Arashi... they have found their own way of expressing their love you could say. XD
I just watched Sho on Tunnels recently and Ishibashi and the whole kosame thing seriously amused me. Sho's answer to the proposed name change... amazing! ROFL And with much conviction he says he'll stick with Arashi and it'll forever be Arashi <33
And somehow these two were synched. ^____^ Yes I saw Nino's Tunnel's appearance too and I wonder why the wipers have no yet made their debut in Arashi concerts? Hmmm... XDDD

Out of the 23 parts (with at least 20-30 mins each) of the 13 hr Touch Eco special I find myself watching part 4 and downloading part 7. Gambarimasu~~ Yes I actually have the patience to download all parts... XD
I love Eito in white especially since it's soooooo far from the very, very hideous / ridiculous Eito costume. Thank heavens! ^^
Tacchon's sporting his Yasuko to Kenji hair *flails*
He looked extra adorable as he was about to head off on the bike powered by used cooking oil. ^___^
The lucky guy, who I realized hid his motorcycle hair under the bonnet, got a sample of the tempura oji-san was frying. Tacchon's food faces... oh the boy is adorable!!
Yes fuka-fuka is still stuck in my head.
