[FRIDAY FAVE] Blow My Mind

Nov 05, 2010 22:39

I like a man that can make me think. A man who makes me question what I don't or do believe in. They prove what a friend and I have been talking about regarding our unrealistic expectations in future partners. I can never marry a man who can't intimidate me with his mind. And that is where these two enter into the picture and take over this week's ( Read more... )

Nino's brain is indecipherable. I think he thinks about things too much whereas Ohno tends to think at face value.

Although he doesn't like to be called an idol, Yoo Ah In certainly has the looks for it.
Hmmm, this sort of reminds me of someone. *coughs*NarimiyaHiroki*coughs* Muhahaha.

He gives K-Pop's resident "philosopher" Big Bang's T.O.P a run for his money.
True that. I wasn't sure whether I'd find someone much better at eloquence when I read TOP's interviews. But I guess TOP's views on life redefine the TOP we know, while Yoo Ah In's views on everything gives life to Uhm Hong Shik. IDK, but they both have the brains I wish I have.

I mean, here's someone so young yet so pensive and insightful.
I thought Yoo Ah In would be just another careless actor who responds either with humor or with pre-thought answers, that's why his status has always been "neither obscure nor popular." But man, his interviews, his tweets, his arrrrgh, such an amazing, complex mind.

In comparison, TOP's interviews run along like this: "Usually, that is, if we narrowly determine what we think is a plain and normal relationship, and we step over that line, people say, ‘Can you handle it?’ But I think that the word ‘handle’ doesn’t fit when it comes to relationships between man and woman. I don’t care at all. They always ask in interviews about love. I have nothing special. I can’t fall into a love that tries to set me to a standard. I want to become someone who’s always wanting and wishing and free."

Just when I think I've figured him out. He just says something so surprising I have to reexamine what I know about him.

IKR. That's why that was mentioned in that YAI interview... that whole explosive Nari comment.

but they both have the brains I wish I have.

Believe me dear I think you're pretty close to that. I do find TOP's eloquence looming on the abstract. He comes off to me as someone who sees life's "big picture." And I am not sure if you get what I mean.

As much as YAI's complexity is his strength. That's quite possibly his weakness too. Since he goes on doing things as he wants them done, he's not one to follow the trends.

And that is why TOP admitted to being bad a being in a relationship. He craves freedom too much.

Oh these boys.

that whole explosive Nari comment.
Nari kinda mentioned this to Seungri once during their interview together. And can I just say how stoked I am to find my leading men to be at par with each other in terms of thoughts and eloquence? *dances*

He comes off to me as someone who sees life's "big picture."
True. In a way, his interviews remind me of MatsuJun no matter how much I dislike the latter. Their minds work the same way and the amazing clarity in their thoughts are awe-inspiring. But, of course, I'd stick with TOP.

Believe me dear I think you're pretty close to that.
Awwww, thanks. You and I are, I think.

Since he goes on doing things as he wants them done, he's not one to follow the trends.
Yes, possibly. His conviction an thoughts on things might hurt people and IDK, a sudden flop in his stardom, maybe? Ahhh, I can't wait to hear the things he'd say once he gets out of the army. Him and TOP. The latter is traumatized by the war because of what he saw in his role as the young soldier. :( Poor bb.

Hehe Yes I know this makes you fangirl happy. :)

Oh you and your Matsujun hate bias. haha I do get what you're talking about though.

Aww. Thanks as well. :)

He'll probably be more insightful once he gets out of the army since he has more time to think and all.
